Description

You will join Electronic Arts' Production Infrastructure & Engineering team as a Senior Business Analyst - Infrastructure Cost Management. The team builds and runs the technology foundation for EA's games, delivering live services and backend infrastructure for millions of players worldwide.

Your role involves guiding cloud and SaaS cost management using automation and analytics to improve game development, launch, and operation. You will report to the Director of Cost and Capacity Management.

Key responsibilities:

  • Manage cost forecasting, allocation, and chargeback reporting for a significant portion of PI&E cloud and SaaS spend
  • Analyse infrastructure spend, validate data quality, and create automation to improve accuracy and reduce manual effort using SQL and Python
  • Define project scope and deliverables, identify risks, and build contingency plans
  • Communicate findings to partners and leadership, turning complex technical data into clear stories

Requirements:

  • 3+ years in an analytical role such as business analysis, finance, data analysis, or analytics engineering
  • Proficiency in SQL and Python
  • Experience building process improvements with measurable impact
  • Familiarity with infrastructure costs and usage patterns on cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
  • Familiarity with FinOps concepts and frameworks

This is a hybrid remote/in-office role.
