Director, Head of Product Marketing

Twitch is looking for a Director, Head of Product Marketing to build, lead, and elevate its global Product Marketing (PMM) function from scratch.

The successful candidate will report directly to the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) and establish Product Marketing as a proactive, high-velocity marketing engine and strategic driver.

Key responsibilities include:

• Architecting the Global PMM Discipline: leading, coaching, and scaling a world-class team of product marketers
• Defining the Value Translation for Creators: translating complex technical roadmaps into compelling creator value narratives
• Partnering on the Core Discovery & Product Roadmap: collaborating with Product, Design, and Engineering leadership
• Bridging Product to Partnerships & BD: ensuring new platform features align with recruitment and retention goals
• Championing Data-Backed Market & Audience Insights: uncovering deep audience affinities and user research
• Turning Marketing into a Native Platform Feature: delivering community value through user-facing messages and in-product promos

Requirements:

• 10+ years of experience in high-growth consumer tech, creator economy platforms, or social networks
• Radical Empathy for Creators & Communities: deep understanding of digital subcultures and streamer dynamics
• Demonstrated Mastery of Two-Sided Platform Economics: understanding creator unit economics and digital commerce
• Exceptional Written and Narrative Rigor: ability to distill complex technical information
• Operational Courage: high agency and comfort saying 'no' to low-impact feature launches

Salary ranges:

• US, WA, Seattle: $187,000-$252,900 USD annually
• US, CA, San Francisco: $205,700-$278,200 USD annually
• US, NY, New York: $205,700-$278,200 USD annually
• US, CA, Irvine: $187,000-$252,900 USD annually
