As a Primary Care Sales Consultant (SC), you will be accountable for implementing sales strategies for an approved Cardiorenal product, consistent with Bayer's compliance standards and applicable legal requirements. You will target key Health Care Providers (HCPs) and hospital systems within an assigned territory.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Building and developing professional relationships with primary care physicians, pharmacy staff, and other healthcare professionals
- Driving demand, clinical education, and sales by developing, coordinating, and implementing a strategic business plan
- Leveraging expertise and knowledge of the diabetes and menopause marketplace to anticipate and manage business opportunities and challenges
- Providing relevant input to commercial colleagues on strategic and tactical planning
- Developing and implementing effective customer-specific business plans
- Prioritizing time and effort to ensure optimal coverage of physician specialists
- Understanding and complying with pharmaceutical industry guidelines and regulations
To be successful in this role, you should possess:
- A bachelor's degree or 10 years of relevant sales experience in competitive landscapes
- A proven track record of consistent high performance in a sales role
- Outstanding written and oral communication skills
- Demonstrated leadership and ability to foster an environment that promotes ethical behavior and compliance
- A valid driver's license and clean driving record
In terms of compensation, employees can expect to be paid a salary between $124,320.00 - $186,480.00, with additional compensation including a bonus or commission. Benefits include health care, vision, dental, retirement, PTO, and sick leave.
