Special Education Academic Coach I

We are seeking a Special Education Academic Coach I to assist students with diverse needs in accessing our general education curriculum. As a Special Education Academic Coach I, you will be responsible for ensuring that students receive individualized attention and support in the classroom.

Responsibilities include:

• Assisting with instruction and supervision of students with learning differences
• Facilitating small group and individual instruction
• Monitoring student progress and providing input for evaluation and parent conferences
• Establishing rapport and meaningful relationships with referred students to improve their behavior, educational performance, and social relationships
• Performing clerical support duties such as typing, completing documents, and record-keeping

Requirements:

• High School diploma/GED and an Associate's degree (or higher) or 48 or more eligible units of coursework at a recognized college or university
• Experience in a school/learning environment preferred

This is an hourly position that can work variable hours up to 35 per week. The salary range is $20.60 - $25.11 per hour.
