Description

We are seeking an Assistant Manager, Pricing to join our team in Kuala Lumpur.

The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting product pricing while managing financial and operational risks.

Key responsibilities include:

Setting profitable and sustainable pricing to maintain competitiveness in the market
Supporting quotations for tailored group employer schemes
Producing product submissions for PCA and BNM and assisting with enquiries
Ensuring product pricing complies with requirements set by SOP, PCA, and BNM
Maintaining and implementing sound pricing approaches/models/bases
Providing timely and effective product implementation support
Ensuring cost-effective and efficient retakaful arrangements are in place for all new products

Requirements:

Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Actuarial Science, or a related field
Good progress in Actuarial professional examinations (IOA/IOAA/SOA)
Competence in actuarial software (ideally Prophet) and Microsoft Office applications (Excel, VBA, Word, PowerPoint)
Good communication and analytical skills
Ability to work under pressure and deliver within tight deadlines
Strong desire to acquire knowledge and deliver results
