Streaming Producer, TEGNA Central Desk

We are seeking an innovative, experienced television producer to develop newscasts for the company's OTT streaming platforms. As a Streaming Producer, TEGNA Central Desk, you will produce for a TEGNA corporate streaming channel based out of Charlotte, North Carolina.

Responsibilities:

• Pitch compelling stories and expert interviews
• Lead by example, inspiring and motivating colleagues
• Create engaging content that stands out from the competition
• Develop stories of various lengths across multiple platforms for targeted audiences
• Meet daily deadlines
• Combine live feeds, graphics, and sound to create an engaging experience
• Coordinate with reporters and anchors across the country
• Provide continuous coverage on live streams for breaking news and community events
• Explore new ideas and edit video specials
• Use data analytics to shape the content of your show

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in journalism, communications, or a related field
• Minimum 2 years of news producing experience
• Excellent communication skills
• Solid journalistic judgment and understanding of professional journalism
• Experience with VMix, ENPS, and desktop video editing software such as Edius
• Desire to live and work in-person in Charlotte, North Carolina
