Description
We are seeking a full-time Senior Staff Nurse to join our Preoperative Assessment team at Clifton Park Hospital in York.
The role involves working autonomously as part of the Preoperative Assessment Team to provide high-quality, individualized patient care. You will have the ability and clinical competence to undertake extended practice, including venepuncture and wound care management. You will also support outpatient services as delegated by the outpatient manager.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Registration with the NMC
- High standards of clinical competence
- Awareness of NICE guidelines on clinical assessment
- Sound written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as required
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet the changing needs of the business
