Litigation Associate (Mid-Level) - Indianapolis, IN

Ice Miller LLP is seeking a mid-level Commercial Litigation Associate to join our Litigation Practice Group in our Indianapolis office.

In this position, you will handle all aspects of complex litigation, including case assessment, pleadings, discovery strategy, motion practice, depositions, trial and/or oral advocacy.

Responsibilities include:

• Managing business disputes in federal and state courts and before arbitration panels
• Drafting and developing litigation strategies, pleadings, briefs, and motions
• Supervising and mentoring junior associates and paralegals
• Serving as a trusted advisor to clients
• Collaborating with partners on business development and client relationship management

Requirements:

• J.D. from an accredited law school with strong academic credentials
• At least three (3) years of experience practicing law in a law firm
• Active law license in Indiana
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Excellent analytical skills and business judgement
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• Permanent authorization to work in the United States
