We are seeking a skilled Software Engineer to develop innovative software solutions. As a Software Engineer at Lucidchart, you will design, plan, and analyze software applications, implement and customize features, and deliver high-quality projects on time.
Responsibilities:
- Develop innovative software solutions
- Enhance and maintain existing software applications
- Design, plan, and analyze software applications
- Implement, customize, test, document, and maintain software applications
- Deliver projects on time and to specification with an appropriate level of quality
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science or related work experience
- 2+ years of progressive software development experience
- Strong experience with PHP or other object-oriented languages
- Understanding of web application development and web development technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery
- Experience with relational databases such as Amazon Aurora, MySQL, PostgreSQL, DB2 or MS SQL
- A solid understanding of common design patterns
- Experience with unit testing frameworks
- Practical exposure and/or experience with building and integrating with RESTful API’s
- Good communication skills
