Description

We are seeking a driven and experienced Sourcer to join our talent acquisition team, specifically focusing on our critical Manufacturing and Supply Chain Engineering Operations.

In this role, you will lead a small team of sourcers while proactively identifying, engaging, and nurturing top-tier talent across various hardware manufacturing, assembly, and related engineering disciplines to support our fast-paced, innovative environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Talent Identification: Utilize advanced sourcing techniques, market research, and industry networks to uncover passive and active candidates with expertise in areas such as:

+ Electro-Mechanical Assembly, Integration (Structural/Electro-Mechanical/Electrical), Avionics, Wire Harnessing, and Mechanical Assembly. + Electrical/Electronics Manufacturing (e.g., PCBA assembly, test, and rework). + Manufacturing Engineering (including Design for Manufacturability (DFM), New Product Introduction (NPI), and Test Engineering). + Specialized Electrical Engineering (e.g., PCBA design) and Firmware Engineering (for manufacturing test and automation). + Manufacturing Software/Automation Engineering (for factory systems, robotics, and test automation). + Generalist manufacturing roles with a mix of electrical, mechanical, software, and quality skills.

  • Candidate Engagement: Initiate and develop meaningful relationships with prospective manufacturing talent through tailored messaging and personalized communication, effectively conveying Anduril's mission and the impact of our opportunities.
  • Team Leadership: Lead a small team of direct reports within the production (Manufacturing & Supply Chain) function.
  • Pipeline Development: Build and maintain robust candidate pipelines for a diverse range of manufacturing and production engineering roles, ensuring a steady flow of high-quality talent for immediate and future hiring needs.
  • Collaboration: Partner effectively with recruiters to understand specific role requirements, production demands, and align sourcing strategies with broader operational and product development goals.
  • Process Improvement: Analyze sourcing metrics and candidate data to refine and optimize sourcing strategies and workflows, contributing to continuous improvement within the talent acquisition function.

Required Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 6+ years in sourcing or recruiting, with a proven track record of hiring for complex manufacturing, production, or hardware engineering roles within high-tech, defense, aerospace, or similarly complex hardware industries.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage, build rapport, and influence candidates and internal stakeholders.
  • Analytical Mindset: Proficient in using data-driven approaches to evaluate sourcing effectiveness and make informed decisions about strategy.
  • Tool Proficiency: Familiarity with applicant tracking systems, LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search techniques, and other sourcing tools.
  • Collaborative Spirit: Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Industry Expertise: Proven experience in manufacturing or hardware engineering sourcing within startups, defense, aerospace, automotive, complex hardware, or high-tech industries.
  • Tooling Experience: Expertise using Greenhouse, Gem, various AI tools, and LinkedIn Recruiter.
  • Manufacturing & Engineering Acumen: Strong understanding of hardware manufacturing processes and production methodologies.
  • Independent & Proactive: Highly self-sufficient with the ability to work autonomously and take initiative without requiring constant supervision.
  • Resilient & Creative Problem Solver: Demonstrates flexibility in tackling challenges, quickly troubleshooting issues, and devising innovative solutions on the fly.
  • Exceptional Communication: Communicates directly and succinctly, sharing information promptly to foster collaboration. Practices active listening and engages thoughtfully.
