Cloud Infrastructure Intern - GPSU/NE

GuidePoint Security is seeking a Cloud Infrastructure Intern to support its Northeast region as part of the GPSU program.

You will work with the NE AI and AppSec teams as part of the NE DevSecOps team, contributing to the Security Innovation and Technology Lab (SITL), GuidePoint's internal multi-cloud research and evaluation environment spanning AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Cloud Infrastructure & IaC
• Assisting in designing and deploying multi-cloud lab environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) using Terraform and Ansible under mentorship
• Contributing to CI/CD pipeline development using GitHub Actions to provision, configure, and tear down lab environments
• Writing, testing, and maintaining reusable IaC modules in a version-controlled environment
• Supporting environment builds for security tool POC and POV engagements from requirements through teardown
• Maintaining version-controlled lab documentation and runbooks to ensure repeatability across the SITL team

• Security Tool Evaluation & Agentic Automation
• Supporting the execution of security tool evaluations across SITL categories
• Assisting in developing agentic harnesses that exercise vendor products against client-defined test cases
• Helping document test cases derived from client requirements and real-world use cases
• Contributing to POC and POV findings reports and participating in client walkthrough sessions under mentorship

You will need:

• Hands-on experience with at least one IaC tool (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation, or equivalent)
• Current enrolment or recent graduation with a degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field
• Exposure to scripting or programming (Python, Bash, or similar) and interest in automation and infrastructure
• Enthusiasm for cloud infrastructure, DevOps practices, and security tool evaluation
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

This is a part-time, remote paid internship ($20/hr) that runs for 12 weeks, with potential for full-time employment at the conclusion of the internship.
