Corporate Counsel, Public Sector and Regulated Offerings

Join Okta's Public Sector and Regulated Offerings Legal Team as a Corporate Counsel. You will provide frontline legal counseling for Okta's most critical regulated environments, working independently and alongside senior leadership to navigate complex U.S. government regulatory frameworks.

Responsibilities:

• Provide end-to-end legal support for Okta's Public Sector teams, focusing on Regulated Products and Services.
• Act as the subject matter expert on emerging cloud service policies, educating internal teams on shifting regulations.
• Partner with cross-functional legal counsel to ensure products meet rigorous U.S. and international regulatory standards.
• Embed with Product, Engineering, Compliance, and Security teams to navigate compliance frameworks and authorizations processes.

Qualifications:

• 5-7+ years of legal practice, with at least 2 years focused on U.S. Public Sector and Regulated Products.
• Experience with FedRAMP, DoD CC SRG, Federal Acquisition Regulation, and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement.
• J.D. from a highly-regarded institution and active Bar admission.
