Applied AI Architect, Cyber Specialist

Anthropic's Applied AI team helps large organisations utilise Claude, Anthropic's AI system. As a Cybersecurity Specialist on Applied AI, you'll work with enterprise account teams, bringing deep security expertise to key accounts. You'll help CISOs and security leaders explore Claude's security applications, guide them from pilots to production workloads, and cover a portfolio of accounts across regulated industries.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with account teams to understand customer security programs and identify opportunities for Claude
• Serve as security-domain technical advisor on strategic enterprise accounts
• Help move customers from one-time code scanning to sustained security workloads
• Build and maintain reference implementations and evaluation approaches
• Run workshops and hands-on sessions with customer security teams
• Equip partners to deliver Claude-powered security outcomes
• Communicate effectively with various audiences, from appsec engineers to CISOs and executives
• Define and track adoption depth for each security workload
• Write playbooks and best practices for the field
• Develop reference customers and stay current on frontier LLM capabilities

Requirements:

• 5+ years in security roles with hands-on experience in at least two areas: application security, offensive security, detection and response, or threat intelligence
• Experience in technical customer-facing roles or security teams where you had to secure leadership investment
• Familiarity with large enterprise customers and complex buying cycles
• Ability to translate between security teams, engineering teams, and executives
• Comfort with Python, CI/CD, cloud environments, and LLMs for security work
• Collaborative approach and teaching ability

The annual compensation range for this role is $300,000-$400,000 USD.
