Description
As a Loss Prevention Officer at NEXT's Wakefield store, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure working and shopping environment.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Ensuring the store feels safe and secure for employees and customers
- Building strong relationships with store teams and local police
- Identifying high-risk areas and acting as a deterrent on the shop floor
- Engaging with store management to adhere to company LP standards
- Performing additional duties such as out-of-hours surveillance, LP auditing, and providing support at other stores
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Previous security experience in a retail environment (preferred)
- Flexibility to work across different stores and opening times
- Ability to travel to cover a cluster of stores within a reasonable distance
- Commitment to keeping store teams and customers safe
- Strong organisational skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Self-motivation and initiative
- Excellent communication skills
- Full flexibility to work 5 out of 7 days, including weekends and evenings
- Basic IT skills (preferred but not essential)

The salary for this role is £25,068 per year.
