Physical Therapist

We are seeking a Physical Therapist to join our team at Aspirus Keweenaw Hospital in Laurium, MI.

The Physical Therapist assumes responsibility and accountability for a designated group of patients and provides physical therapy evaluations, modalities, and treatments in accordance with established hospital and departmental policies and procedures, maintaining the highest degree of quality patient care.

Key aspects of the role:

• Providing 1:1 therapist to patient treatments
• Encouraging therapist autonomy
• Team approach with open-door policy
• Management involvement in direct patient care

Requirements:

• BS, MS or DPT in Physical Therapy
• Current or eligible for MI licensure
• CPR/BLS required within 90 days of hire
• 1 year of experience in an acute hospital setting or outpatient facility preferred
