Senior Manager, Software Engineering

Join Electronic Arts as a Senior Manager, Software Engineering, leading enterprise-scale engineering platforms that support game development teams globally. You will collaborate with game teams on popular titles such as FC, Apex, Madden, Battlefield, NHL, Skate, and more.

As part of GDXE, you will report to a Director or other engineering leader, and together you will:

• Lead teams responsible for Perforce SRE/DevOps engineering, automation, tooling, and platform reliability.
• Mentor engineers across SRE operations, sprint delivery, Perforce platform support, Linux, Ansible, infrastructure as code, monitoring, and automation.
• Partner with engineering teams, stakeholders, and customers on requirements, incidents, escalations, and platform improvements.
• Manage the engineering response in #help_perforce and coordinate customer-driven work and follow-up items.
• Lead direct reports through resource allocation, coaching, performance feedback, and career development.

Job qualifications and requirements:

• 10+ years of experience developing enterprise-level software solutions.
• 5+ years of experience supporting enterprise-scale systems, platforms, automation, infrastructure, or technical operations.
• 5+ years of experience with SRE, DevOps, platform engineering, or production support practices, including service reliability, incident response, CI/CD, and operational readiness.
• 3+ years of experience with Linux, enterprise source control systems, monitoring, scripting, infrastructure as code, configuration management tools such as Ansible, cloud, or hybrid infrastructure.
• 3+ years of people management experience, including coaching, performance feedback, career development.
• Experience developing technical and operational roadmaps mapped over a year.
• B.S. in computer science or a related technical field preferred, or equivalent experience.

Nice to Have:

• Experience leading projects using Jira, Artifactory, or similar enterprise tools.
• Experience with Perforce Helix Core administration, replication, edge/commit server models, storage, backup/recovery, and operational health monitoring.
• Experience working with onsite/offshore resources across multiple time zones.
• Experience with AI/ML.
