Senior Zip System Specialist(Contract Role)

Job Overview

We are seeking a Senior Zip System Specialist for a contract role in a hybrid work environment. As a Procurement technologist, you will drive the strategy and execution of our global procurement technology ecosystem, leveraging Zip as the premier intake and orchestration layer, integrated with Oracle Fusion Cloud as our financial system of record.

Responsibilities

• Design and optimize the global Source-to-Pay (S2P) process, ensuring a frictionless hand-off between upstream sourcing/intake (Zip) and downstream purchasing/payables (Oracle Fusion).
• Act as the functional lead for both Zip and Oracle Fusion Procurement, building complex intake workflows in Zip and configuring Requisitioning, Purchasing, and Supplier Portals in Oracle.
• Own the functional health of the Zip-to-Oracle integration, monitoring data flow for Requisitions, Purchase Orders, and Supplier Master Data.
• Lead discovery sessions with Global Procurement, Legal, and Accounting, translating high-level business policies into precise logic within the tech stack.
• Ensure that the "System of Record" (Oracle) remains audit-ready, managing the mapping of Category Codes, Cost Centers, and Tax attributes between the Zip UI and the Oracle GL.
• Manage the quarterly update cycles for both Zip and Oracle, conducting impact assessments on new features.

Requirements

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in Oracle Fusion Procurement and 2+ years of experience with Zip (Zip HQ).
• Deep understanding of the Source-to-Pay (S2P) lifecycle, including PR/PO lifecycle, 3-way matching, Encumbrance Accounting, and Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM).
• Proven experience managing API-based integrations between Intake-to-Procure tools and Tier-1 ERPs.
• Ability to map complex, cross-functional business processes and identify opportunities for automation or bottleneck removal.
• Understanding of how changing a workflow in Zip impacts the General Ledger and AP downstream in Oracle.
