Dual Services Officer

As a Dual Services Officer at ABM UK, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for customers and employees by patrolling and monitoring premises in a busy shopping centre.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Carrying out daily cleaning within the Centre following PPM Schedules to maintain a clean and safe environment for all visitors
• Ensuring efficient recycling and waste management is carried out
• Maintaining welfare facilities in good condition
• Liaising with all colleagues to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the Centre
• Cleaning car parks, manually brushing edges, along with emptying and replacing bin liners
• Conducting daily inspections of site streets, car parks, service roads/areas, and public access areas
• Ensuring all Health & Safety checks are carried out as requested by Facilities Manager & Centre Manager
• Communicating and delivering Health and Safety practices and regulations to company/centre specifications
• Preventing, detecting, and investigating disturbances, offences on site, signs of intrusion, and ensuring security of doors and gates
• Accurately reporting all incidents & accidents, writing reports of daily activities and irregularities
• Viewing and downloading recorded footage and maintaining effective multiple information feeds simultaneously
• Dealing appropriately with individuals who act in an anti-social manner
• Responding to emergency situations as they arise, liaising with the emergency services
• Ensuring all contractors have a valid permit to work before commencing any works
• Performing reception duties, including answering telephone calls and taking messages
• Testing the fire alarm systems and dealing promptly with alarm activations
• Dealing with any spillages or litter within the mall and common areas
• Taking responsibility for your own and others' health and safety

Qualifications:

• SIA Door Supervisor Licence
• CCTV Licence
