Night Cleaning Operative

We are seeking a Night Cleaning Operative to join our team in London. As a Night Cleaning Operative, you will be responsible for maintaining clean, safe, and hygienic environments across various sites, covering staff absences, holidays, sickness, and additional cleaning requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out general cleaning duties, including vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping floors, dusting and wiping surfaces, emptying bins, and cleaning toilets, washrooms, and kitchens.
• Follow cleaning schedules and work instructions, and use cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and in accordance with COSHH regulations.
• Report maintenance issues, accidents, damages, or health and safety concerns to management, and ensure all work is completed to the required quality standards.
• Lock and secure premises where required, and maintain stock levels of cleaning supplies.
• Provide excellent customer service and represent the company professionally.

Health & Safety:

• Comply with all company health and safety policies and procedures, wear appropriate PPE when required, and ensure safe storage and handling of cleaning chemicals.

Requirements:

• Previous cleaning experience in a commercial, office, retail, healthcare, or educational environment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with good attention to detail, reliable, flexible, and punctual.
• Good communication skills, and ability to travel between sites.
