Associate Director, Software Engineering Specialist

We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Associate Director, Software Engineering Specialist.

The successful candidate will provide technical expertise for Finance On the Cloud applications and various software components that supplement it for its transformation and uplift.

Key responsibilities include:

• Implementing standards around development, DevSecOps, orchestration, segregation, and containerization
• Acting as a technical expert on the design and implementation of technology solutions to meet the needs of the Data and Enterprise reporting function
• Ensuring compliance of products and services with mandatory and regulatory requirements, control objectives, and technical currency
• Working with IT communities of practice to maximize automation, increase efficiency, and adopt best practices and latest tools, techniques, and processes

Technical skills required:

• Experience in CI/CD using Ansible/Jenkins
• Experience in operating a container orchestration cluster (Kubernetes, Docker)
• Proficient knowledge of integration of Spark framework and Deltalake
• Experience in Python/Pyspark
• Knowledge of code review, code optimization, and enforcing best-in-class coding standards
• Experience in multi-tenant application/platform
• Knowledge of access management, segregation of duties, and change management process

Preferred technical skills:

• Knowledge of Apache ecosystem (Spark, Airflow)
• Experience with databases (Postgres)
• Experience with UNIX and Spark UI
• Experience with zookeeper or similar orchestration
