Associate Quality Designer - Frostbite (12 months contract)

We are seeking an Associate Quality Designer to join our Frostbite team at Electronic Arts in Bucharest, Romania. As an Associate Quality Designer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of our games and software.

Responsibilities:

• Perform manual, regression, and exploratory testing; manage bugs throughout their lifecycle; and maintain test cases in Qmetry and Jira.
• Monitor QA workflows, test practices, and bug handling to identify risks, dependencies, and root causes. Use project data to support release decisions and risk-mitigation discussions.
• Collaborate with technical teams to meet quality goals, share knowledge, and improve processes across distributed teams.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of QA experience in software, game development, or a centralized technical support environment.
• Experience with core testing methodologies, including integration, regression, functional, and user acceptance testing, and test management and defect-tracking tools.
• Familiarity with automated test execution: triggering runs, monitoring results, and interpreting basic dashboard metrics and trends.
