Description

Governments worldwide are changing how businesses report and exchange transactions. Continuous Transaction Controls (CTC) and e-invoicing mandates are now active or imminent in several countries. Stripe needs to provide compliant e-invoicing for its global user base.

We are building the e-invoicing infrastructure that makes this invisible for Stripe users. You will own Stripe's e-invoicing product end-to-end: setting the strategy, driving execution, and making Stripe the go-to solution for businesses navigating the global shift to real-time invoicing compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Own the e-invoicing product vision and roadmap, translating complex and evolving regulatory requirements into a coherent multi-year strategy
  • Drive Stripe's expansion across mandated global markets and into Latin America
  • Lead build, buy, and partner decisions to meet compliance deadlines without sacrificing long-term product quality
  • Define and own the end-to-end user journey: from onboarding to live invoice transmission via certified networks
  • Work closely with the Billing, Invoicing, Tax, and Connect teams to embed e-invoicing as a native part of Stripe's financial infrastructure
  • Establish quality, reliability, and activation metrics to drive continuous improvement
  • Partner with GTM, Sales, and Solutions Engineering to position Stripe as the leading e-invoicing solution
  • Represent Stripe credibly with regulators, certification bodies, and industry partners

Requirements

  • 5+ years of product management experience, with at least 2 years in a B2B fintech, payments, tax, or compliance-adjacent product domain
  • Deep familiarity with the e-invoicing landscape, CTC frameworks, structured invoice formats, and regulatory dynamics
  • Strong technical fluency: able to partner with engineers on API design, data schemas, and network integration architecture
  • Demonstrated ability to run a build/buy/partner analysis and translate the output into concrete roadmap decisions
  • Experience launching products across multiple markets simultaneously, including navigating localization, regulatory compliance, and differing user needs
  • Excellent cross-functional leadership and clear, direct communication skills
