Yard Operative

Join Biffa as a Yard Operative in Burgess Hill Transfer Station.

You will assist in the safe and efficient day-to-day operation of the site, ensuring waste is segregated for recycling and adhering to company policies and procedures.

Core Responsibilities:

• Assist in the safe, efficient, and profitable operation of the site
• Provide operative services, including picking and segregation of waste, and cleaning of yard areas
• Advise and assist centre users to maximise segregation and recycling
• Ensure correct PPE is worn and adhere to company policies and procedures
