Description
We are seeking an experienced Data Science and AI Engineering Lead, VP to drive the creation of new AI solutions for the Chief Strategy & Innovation Office (CSIO).
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the design, development, and implementation of new AI solutions for stakeholders across Deutsche Bank.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership (20%): Help lead and develop a high-performing Data Science and AI Engineering team, drive the adoption of AI and analytics best practices, and foster a collaborative and innovative team environment.
- Stakeholder Management and Governance (10%): Ensure AI governance requirements are adhered to, provide demos of new solutions, and support the communication and upskilling agenda.
- Hands-on Development of AI Solutions (70%): Lead the design, development, and implementation of novel AI solutions, partner with business stakeholders, and ensure new AI solutions are thoroughly tested and validated.
Requirements:
- 18+ years of experience in AI engineering
- Experience with Python, FastAPI/Flask, Google VertexAI, and other AI developer tools and platforms
- Strong knowledge of current best practices for AI risk management
- Ability to write/review Python code and experience using AI coding assistants
- Experience developing production-grade software within a Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) control framework
