Description
We are seeking a Validation/Verification Engineering, Sr Engineer to research, design, develop, and test electronic components and systems for commercial, industrial, military, or scientific use. You will validate Synopsys's silicon intellectual properties (IP), focusing on PCIe (Peripheral Component Interconnect Express) products.
Responsibilities include:
- Collecting experimental data to ensure Synopsys's PCIe silicon products comply with PCI-SIG (PCI Special Interest Group) standards
- Performing IP block electrical characterization and debugging circuitry functionality
- Generating valid validation reports
- Working closely with Synopsys Designer to debug potential issues on silicon and implement patches
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field
- 6 months of experience in validation engineering
- Background in:
- Oscilloscopes
- Vector Network Analyzers (VNA)
- Circuit design, debugging, and validation
- MATLAB
- Multimeter
- Power supplies
- Analog circuits
- Radio-frequency (RF) circuits
The base salary range across the U.S. for this role is between $120,288.48 to $137,000 per year.
