Description
We are seeking a Housekeeping Assistant to join our team at Southlands Care Home in Harrogate. As a Housekeeping Assistant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining high standards of cleanliness within the home, working closely with our other housekeeping and maintenance staff.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness within the home
- Ensuring our residents are kept happy by vacuuming, mopping floors, polishing, and generally ensuring the upkeep of all communal areas and resident's bedrooms
- Maintaining housekeeping stocks for day-to-day use and raising any issues to the Housekeeping Supervisor as needed
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- The ability to take pride in ensuring your work is always completed to a high standard
- The ability to maintain an organised environment and multitask, often managing multiple requests at once
- Good communication skills, with the ability to work with other teams to ensure our residents are kept happy in their home
