Description
As a Senior Medical Assistant at Intermountain Health, you will play a vital role in supporting our clinical team, ensuring our patients receive the best care.
The Senior Medical Assistant will be responsible for providing care to patients in an ambulatory clinic setting, caring for patients with acute and chronic needs.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing patient care under the direction of a clinician
- Communicating clearly with patients through various modalities, including telephone and in-person interactions
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality patient care
Requirements:
- Completion of a Medical Assistant program or at least one year of Medical Assistant work experience
- Current Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers
- Demonstrated basic computer skills and professional manner with strong interpersonal and communication skills
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience in an outpatient clinic or other healthcare setting
- Computer literacy in using electronic medical records (EMR) systems
- Current national MA certification
We offer a competitive salary range of $20.07 - $28.59 per hour, 40 hours/week, and a comprehensive benefits package.
