Description
We are seeking a Senior Engineer - Mechanical to join our team in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. You will play a senior role in project design work, focusing on production and liaison with the WSP Building Services Team, as well as mentor and coach junior members of the team.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Local CRC Head of MEP to identify variances between constructed works and design intent
- Lead the design process to deliver cost-effective solutions within the agreed programme
- Participate in team meetings, disseminate information, and communicate with other WSP teams
- Identify and flag additional fees to the Local CRC Head of MEP
- Accurately complete timesheets ahead of weekly deadlines
Qualifications:
- Experience in preparing IFC Drawings, Schedules, Datasheets, schematics, and P&ID
- Membership in an accredited engineering body (e.g., MIET, CIBSE, INSRAE, ASHRAE)
- Working knowledge of ISHRAE, ASHRAE, and ME codes
- Ability to prepare heat load calculations and technical submittals
- Proficiency in software such as AutoCAD, MEP, and Hevacomp
- Strong presentation skills and ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision
