Software Engineer for Mist Wired Assurance & Mist Edge solution

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer to join our team for Mist Wired Assurance & Mist Edge solution. This role is based onsite at an HPE office in Bengaluru, India.

As a Software Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable cloud-native software solutions and microservices. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to define requirements and deliver product features.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable cloud-native software solutions and microservices.
• Build and enhance REST APIs and backend services that support high-performance applications.
• Work with distributed data stores and messaging technologies to deliver reliable and scalable solutions.
• Participate in the complete software development lifecycle, including design, coding, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements and deliver product features.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and Agile development practices to ensure rapid and high-quality software delivery.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues and optimize application performance.

Requirements:

• 6 years of experience working in cloud platforms, cloud services, or product-based technology companies.
• Strong programming skills in at least one language: Python, Go, or C++.
• Hands-on experience building and deploying microservices-based applications.
• Experience working with data stores, serialization technologies, and distributed systems.
• Good understanding of RESTful API design and development.
• Experience working in Agile environments with CI/CD-based software development practices.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a collaborative team-oriented mindset.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field (preferred).
