Substrates Supply Chain Commodity Manager

NVIDIA is seeking a Substrates Supply Chain Commodity Manager to lead strategic sourcing, market analysis, and commodity management of substrates and associated raw materials. This role involves developing and executing global sourcing strategies to enhance supply chain value through improved sourcing, quality, and margin management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze market research data to inform sourcing strategies and collaborate with internal teams to align on commodity sourcing plans.
• Develop and manage supplier relationships to improve performance and drive business growth.
• Ensure component supply assurance and implement inventory flexibility programs to minimize liabilities.
• Design and maintain a supplier risk management system to mitigate supply chain risks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve production readiness impediments and support production execution.
• Foster early supplier involvement to drive innovation and meet project schedules.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or equivalent experience; MBA preferred.
• At least 8 years of experience in semiconductor or substrates technical and/or supply chain teams.
• In-depth knowledge of substrates and associated materials technology, market, manufacturing processes, cost drivers, and supply landscape.
• Strong analytical skills, including industry competition analysis and supply/demand analysis.
• Excellent negotiation, leadership, and communication skills.
• High degree of integrity, initiative, and attention to detail.
