We're seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead transformation and drive performance at our Lima, Ohio facility. This critical leadership role involves shaping culture, ensuring quality and efficiency, and directly impacting operations.
Responsibilities
As a Maintenance Supervisor, you will:
- Lead a dedicated hourly team, fostering an environment where they can excel and feel empowered
- Champion workplace safety, enforcing regulations and promoting a culture of vigilance
- Drive operational excellence, meeting or exceeding production targets and addressing shortcomings proactively
- Prioritize critical tasks, allocate resources efficiently, and make informed decisions to prevent larger problems
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, motivating your team to achieve shared goals
- Utilize data to minimize downtime and quality defects, driving quantifiable improvements in efficiency and quality
- Identify and eliminate inefficiencies, improve processes, and drive innovation to enhance productivity, quality, and safety
- Resolve conflicts fairly and effectively, building strong relationships with your team and partners
- Champion accountability, managing performance and ensuring fairness
- Collaborate with team members, the union, and management to continuously improve operations
Qualifications
To succeed, you will need:
- A bachelor's degree or equivalent 3-7+ years of supervisory, manufacturing, military, or relevant experience
- Ability to work rotating shifts, including nights and weekends
- Fundamental working knowledge of PLC logic and controls
- Experience with Lean/Six Sigma methodology and/or Military Decision-Making Process (MDMP) is preferred

This position is a salary grade 7, ranging from $84,480-$141,360 per year.
