Description

We're seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead transformation and drive performance at our Lima, Ohio facility. This critical leadership role involves shaping culture, ensuring quality and efficiency, and directly impacting operations.

Responsibilities

As a Maintenance Supervisor, you will:

  • Lead a dedicated hourly team, fostering an environment where they can excel and feel empowered
  • Champion workplace safety, enforcing regulations and promoting a culture of vigilance
  • Drive operational excellence, meeting or exceeding production targets and addressing shortcomings proactively
  • Prioritize critical tasks, allocate resources efficiently, and make informed decisions to prevent larger problems
  • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, motivating your team to achieve shared goals
  • Utilize data to minimize downtime and quality defects, driving quantifiable improvements in efficiency and quality
  • Identify and eliminate inefficiencies, improve processes, and drive innovation to enhance productivity, quality, and safety
  • Resolve conflicts fairly and effectively, building strong relationships with your team and partners
  • Champion accountability, managing performance and ensuring fairness
  • Collaborate with team members, the union, and management to continuously improve operations

Qualifications

To succeed, you will need:

  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent 3-7+ years of supervisory, manufacturing, military, or relevant experience
  • Ability to work rotating shifts, including nights and weekends
  • Fundamental working knowledge of PLC logic and controls
  • Experience with Lean/Six Sigma methodology and/or Military Decision-Making Process (MDMP) is preferred

This position is a salary grade 7, ranging from $84,480-$141,360 per year.
