Description
We are seeking experienced Lead Design Engineers and Technical Lead Engineers to take a leading technical role in exciting development projects in the automotive industry. As a Lead Design Engineer/Technical Lead Engineer, you will combine technical leadership with product development at the forefront of the automotive industry.
Responsibilities: Depending on the assignment, your tasks may include:
- Coordinating and leading technical deliveries, development activities, and supporting engineers in the team
- Working on mechanical design and product development of components and systems
- Driving technical investigations, risk analyses, and problem-solving
- Collaborating with suppliers, customers, and other stakeholders throughout the development process
- Creating and reviewing CAD documentation and technical documentation
- Contributing to activities related to DFMEA, tolerance analyses, verification, and quality assurance
- Ensuring that technical solutions meet requirements for function, quality, cost, and delivery time
Requirements: To thrive and succeed in this role, you have:
- A bachelor's or master's degree in mechanical engineering, automotive engineering, or equivalent
- At least 5 years of experience in the automotive industry
- Experience in leading technical deliveries, work packages, or development activities
- Experience in product development and stakeholder management
- Experience working in cross-functional teams and collaborating with suppliers
- Experience with CAD tools such as CATIA V5, Siemens NX, or Creo
- Experience with PLM systems such as Teamcenter or Windchill
- Fluent English in writing and speaking
- B driver's license
