Registered Nurse (RN) - Critical Care

Join the Critical Care Unit at Lexington Medical Center, part of Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist Health, as a Registered Nurse (RN). The unit provides Intensive and Intermediate Care to patients with various conditions, including sepsis, shock, and respiratory failure.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care
• Use evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, and compassion to lead efforts in creating the safest patient environment
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to advocate for patient needs and uphold professional practice standards

Requirements:

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
• Greater than 1 year of RN experience

Schedule:

• 3rd shift (7pm-7am)
• 2 weekends out of 6 week scheduling block
• Holiday rotation
