As a Sr. Manager, Renewal Revenue Strategy & Operations, you will serve as the driving force behind the continuous improvement of Elastic's global renewal processes. You will design targeted recommendations that align cross-functional teams towards strategic initiatives, develop early warning indicators, track progress, and build robust strategies to ensure operations can scale to meet market trends and customer needs.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate Annual Planning with global stakeholders to develop coverage models, compensation design, quota setting, and headcount strategies.
- Lead initiatives to design company policy and processes, enhance system and data analytics, and leverage AI to derive deep insights into business trends and proactive steps to improve the renewal lifecycle.
- Drive coordination across Sales, Finance, Field Engineering, and other teams to manage renewals and potential risks, cross-sell, and upsell.
- Advise senior leadership on performance, challenges, and areas of opportunity.
- Foster a culture of mentorship, transparency, innovation, and accountability.
Requirements
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in renewals, sales operations, or a related field in the software or technology industry.
- Proven track record of leading teams and driving strategic process improvements in a global, matrixed context.
- Highly analytical and data-driven with the ability to build a pragmatic roadmap, strategic objectives, and actionable next steps.
- Outstanding leadership and communication skills with the ability to lead through influence and collaborate with senior leadership.
- Experience with systems thinking and understanding how changes can impact upstream/downstream cross-functional teams and processes.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, or a related field; an MBA is preferred.
- Experience with Salesforce.com, Microsoft Office Suite, Revenue Intelligence Tools (e.g., Clari, Gong, Seismic), and modern AI stack (e.g., Claude, Gemini, Appscripts).
Compensation
The typical starting salary range for this role is $128,200-$202,900 USD. In select locations, an alternate range may apply: $153,800-$243,300 USD.
