Physical Therapist I - Outpatient Ortho

We are seeking a Physical Therapist I to join our Outpatient Orthopaedic team at Atrium Health Physical Therapy Gastonia.

As a Physical Therapist I, you will evaluate patients, develop and implement treatment plans, and work with patients to achieve their rehabilitation goals.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate patients and create personalised care plans
• Gather and interpret data from medical records, physician reports, and patient feedback
• Establish functional goals with patients and provide evidence-based interventions
• Document patient progress, treatment notes, and discharge plans
• Communicate with physicians, referral sources, and clinical staff
• Supervise Physical Therapist Assistants and Rehabilitation Technicians as needed

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift patients, equipment, or supplies up to 20 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally
• Ability to laterally transfer patients up to 100 pounds
• Must be able to demonstrate exercises and activities to patients and caregivers
• Personal Protective Equipment may be required

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy
• Applicable state license for Physical Therapy
• Basic Life Support certification
