Construction Superintendent – Mechanical

You will oversee mechanical contractors and crews building advanced mechanical infrastructure for xAI's Data Centers, including large-scale HVAC and cooling systems.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and coordinate mechanical installations
• Manage and schedule mechanical contractors, subcontractors, and on-site crews
• Ensure contractors adhere to mechanical scope and quality standards
• Monitor daily progress and maintain detailed logs
• Develop and enforce construction schedules
• Champion and enforce xAI's safety program
• Supervise foremen and mechanical crews
• Resolve on-site challenges
• Conduct regular site inspections
• Prepare and present progress reports

Basic Qualifications:

• 3+ years managing mechanical construction teams
• 3+ years of direct hands-on experience in mechanical installations
• High school diploma or equivalency certificate

Preferred Skills and Experience:

• Postsecondary diploma or degree in construction management or related field
• Experience with construction management software
• Familiarity with Memphis-area building codes and regulations
• Strong understanding of data center mechanical specifications
