Incident Manager - Detection & Response

Job Overview

We are seeking an Incident Manager to join our Detection & Response (D&R) team at Anthropic. As an Incident Manager, you will own and grow incident management within D&R, focusing on detecting, responding to, and learning from security and operational incidents.

Responsibilities

• Own the incident response lifecycle, from detection and triage through containment, remediation, and post-incident review
• Gather data on incident trends, report on patterns and root causes, and work across engineering, security, infrastructure, and product teams to implement broad fixes and systemic improvements
• Ensure the organization learns from incidents and improves each time

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience
• A field relevant to the role as demonstrated through coursework, training, or professional experience
• Minimum years of experience required will correlate with the internal job level requirements for the position

Logistics

• Location-based hybrid policy: currently, we expect all staff to be in one of our offices at least 25% of the time
• Visa sponsorship: we do sponsor visas and will make every reasonable effort to get you a visa
