Description
Ford of Canada is seeking a Senior Maintenance Supervisor to lead transformation and drive performance in their manufacturing operations.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Acting as a champion of workplace safety, proactively enforcing regulations and fostering a culture of vigilance
- Leading and directing a team of employees to consistently produce high-quality products and meet or exceed production targets
- Prioritizing critical tasks and allocating human resources to maximize efficiency
- Applying a 'Bias for Action' to promptly address safety and quality issues
- Embracing a servant leadership style, focusing on building high-performing teams and investing in their growth
- Utilizing data and insights to drive improvements in efficiency and quality
- Maintaining a relentless focus on identifying and eliminating inefficiencies, improving processes, and driving innovation
- Proactively addressing and mediating conflicts fairly and effectively
- Championing accountability and fairness in managing team performance and processes
- Collaborating with team members, the union, and management to continuously improve operations
The ideal candidate will have:
- A Bachelor's degree or equivalent and 7+ years of supervisory, manufacturing, or relevant experience
- Fundamental working knowledge of PLC logic and controls
- Ability to work rotating shifts and hours, including nights and weekends
Preferred qualifications include:
- Experience with Lean / Six Sigma methodology
The expected annual salary range for this position is $87,000.00 - $137,000.00, and individuals may be eligible to participate in the Annual Compensation bonus program.
