Senior Product Sourcing Engineer, Tactical Recon & Strike

The Senior Product Sourcing Engineer drives strategic supply network development and cost management of Anduril's Tactical Recon & Strike product portfolio.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct supplier selection for specific products
• Partner with strategic suppliers to accelerate product development
• Drive development and consolidation of manufacturing BOM
• Manage CAPEX throughout NPI
• Conduct value-stream mapping to optimize supply network lead time and flexibility
• Complete BOM risk assessment
• Ensure completion of component qualifications
• Reduce complexity through commonality optimization and component/supplier rationalization
• Lead cost engineering activities
• Manage ad-hoc cost issues

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain, engineering, or related technical field
• 6+ years of experience in sourcing engineering, supplier engagement, or design of electronics/mechanical devices
• Domain expertise in value/procurement engineering or TCO-related work
• Ability to travel 10%-40% of the time
• Ability to relocate to Costa Mesa, CA

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's degree in mechanical engineering
• Experience in design and development of electronics/mechanical devices
• Advanced sourcing activities
• Supplier development
• Early supplier engagement
• Familiarity with high-tech products in a high-mix, low-volume environment
• Exposure to working in a fast-paced, start-up environment
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. TS clearance
