Description

As an AV Engineer at Anthropic's London office, you will design and implement systems for world-class collaboration and communication across EMEA offices.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead AV design, procurement, and programming for new office builds, expansions, and retrofits
  • Create and maintain AV system designs, including schematic drawings and elevation plans
  • Program and commission AV systems to meet specific use cases and user requirements
  • Ensure successful deployments for new offices
  • Collaborate with architects, contractors, and workplace teams to drive AV requirements and integration
  • Innovate and test emerging AV technologies
  • Develop automated solutions to improve system reliability
  • Partner with Security and IT teams to ensure AV systems meet enterprise security requirements
  • Create comprehensive documentation for all systems
  • Oversee global AV operations and service delivery standards
  • Manage relationships with AV integrators and vendors
  • Assist with AV operations support, including event production and system maintenance

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of experience designing and implementing AV systems in an enterprise environment
  • Proficiency in control system programming using Q-Sys ecosystem or similar
  • Hands-on experience with video conferencing platforms, particularly Google Meet
  • Ability to read and create AV technical drawings
  • Understanding of digital signal processing concepts for audio
  • Familiarity with enterprise video distribution and streaming technologies
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills and ability to collaborate with non-technical stakeholders

Strong candidates may also have:

  • Experience with Logitech video conferencing ecosystem and management platforms
  • Certifications such as Q-Sys Level 2, CTS, or CTS-D
  • Familiarity building control scripts using Lua within Q-Sys
  • Background in broadcast production or live event engineering

Additional Requirements:

  • Up to 8 weeks of domestic and international travel for new office build-outs
  • Annual salary: £210,000-£250,000 GBP
