Description
We are seeking a Seasonal Sales Associate to join our team at Sur La Table in Boulder, CO. As a Sales Associate, you will contribute to the success of our store by inspiring customers on all points of their culinary journey.
Responsibilities:
- Provide an exceptional customer experience according to customer service standards
- Stay informed about product knowledge and access available training
- Work as part of a high-performing team to achieve store's sales plan
- Share product assortment and services with customers
- Process transactions accurately and efficiently via the POS
- Maintain a clean store environment
- Record time worked accurately
- Demonstrate exceptional verbal and written communication skills
Essential Functions:
- Ability to communicate verbally and work cooperatively with employees and customers
- Ability to remain in a stationary position for up to 3 hours at a time
- Ability to move about the workplace selling to customers and retrieving merchandise
- Ability to lift and/or move merchandise weighing up to 35 lbs
Requirements:
- 1 year retail sales experience (preferred)
- Must be at least 16 years old
- Proficient in POS Systems
Pay Range & Benefits:
- $14.81 - $16.70 per hour
