Prime Brokerage Operations Associate

We are seeking a Prime Brokerage Operations Associate to provide direct client coverage and support key post-execution processes, including equity swap allocation and equity and fixed income cash trade management.

In this role, you will:

• Manage daily client-related functions, including trade allocations, amendments, client queries, and reporting within specified timelines
• Oversee swap trade allocations, investigate breaks, and ensure timely resolution of exceptions
• Perform cash trade matching and settlement activities while maintaining a strong focus on risk and control
• Build and maintain relationships with clients through proactive engagement and high-quality service delivery
• Partner with global stakeholders and operational groups to address client needs and resolve issues effectively
• Identify opportunities to improve process efficiency through root cause analysis and operational enhancements
• Participate in straight-through processing initiatives and system enhancement projects
• Adhere to established controls, identify operational risks, and escalate issues to management in a timely manner

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Experience in financial services operations
• Experience in client servicing and stakeholder management
• Ability to communicate effectively through strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Understanding of risk management, controls, and escalation processes
• High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and numeracy skills
• Experience in using analytical and investigative skills to identify and resolve issues
• Ability to build effective working relationships with local and global colleagues
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; VBA or macro experience preferred
