Physical Therapist I - Outpatient

We are seeking a Physical Therapist I to join our Outpatient Rehabilitation team at Atrium Health Stanly. As a key service line within a community-focused hospital, patient care remains our primary focus, allowing therapists to build meaningful relationships and make a direct impact on the lives of those we serve.

Job Summary Evaluates, plans, directs and administers programs of Physical Therapy (PT) in an outpatient setting. Plans and conducts PT programs to restore function, prevent disability, and help patients reach their maximum level of independence.

Essential Functions

• Evaluate patients and develop care plans
• Provide direct therapy services to patients
• Gather and interpret data from medical records and physician reports
• Document evaluations, progress notes, and discharge notes
• Communicate with physicians, referral sources, and clinical staff

Physical Requirements

• Hearing and vision adequate for communication and reading
• Intelligible speech and adequate language/cognitive skills
• Ability to sit, stand, walk, climb stairs, kneel, twist, bend, and lift patients and equipment

Education, Experience and Certifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy
• NC license for Physical Therapy
• BLS certification
