Physical Therapist (PT) - Weekend Program- Acute Care

We are seeking a Physical Therapist (PT) for our weekend program in acute care at Aurora Medical Center Manitowoc County. This part-time role offers a $10,000 sign-on bonus for new hires and weekend premiums.

As a Physical Therapist, you will interpret physician referrals, complete evaluations, establish plans of care, monitor outcomes, and adjust treatment plans accordingly. You will also participate in performance improvement activities, manage your caseload, and pursue professional growth through continuing education.

Responsibilities:

• Interpret physician referrals and complete evaluations
• Establish plans of care and implement individual treatment
• Monitor and evaluate outcomes, adjusting treatment plans as needed
• Plan for patient discharge, including providing home programs and ordering equipment
• Complete required documentation and maintain accurate records
• Participate in performance improvement activities and manage caseload
• Pursue professional growth through continuing education

Requirements:

• Physical Therapist license issued by the state of Wisconsin
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy
• Intermediate computer skills and excellent communication skills
