Description
Join NVIDIA's NVLINK HW team as a lead engineer and help design innovative end-to-end connectivity solutions for GPU servers. These solutions optimise data centre performance, delivering industry-leading bandwidth and scalability for applications in AI, ML, Cloud, Media and Entertainment, and other industries that can benefit from datastream acceleration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design of switch systems from concept to mass production
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Board Design, Mechanics, Thermal, PCB Layout, Production, Software/Firmware, and RTL
- Make key technical decisions and act as a project focal point
- Define product specifications, create electrical schematics, select components, guide layout, and conduct hands-on testing in a lab environment
- Support production and qualification processes
Requirements:
- B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of experience as a board designer, with a track record of executing complex hardware projects
- Proven experience leading multi-disciplinary projects
- Hands-on lab skills
- Knowledge of multi-layer PCB design and high-current power delivery design
- Strong project management and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience designing data centre switches for high-volume manufacturing
- Knowledge of high-speed design (25Gb/s and above)
- Familiarity with advanced PCB technology
- Experience leading customer conversations and understanding product requirements
