Description
We are seeking a Simulation & Test Electrical Design Engineer to work in our Advanced Systems Integration Test Facility (ASITF). As a Simulation & Test Electrical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for authoring and maintaining electrical drawings for new Avionics & Electrical systems and associated components. You will also design and troubleshoot test simulation hardware and wire harnesses for the facility.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Computer Science, or a similar field, with at least 5-10 years of relevant experience in aircraft systems test, wiring design, and advanced troubleshooting.
Key accountabilities include:
- Developing and implementing electrical integration and test solutions for ASITF
- Applying engineering principles and independent judgment to evaluate, develop, and implement solutions for complex technical issues affecting electrical system design, documentation, procurement, fabrication, installation, and test integration activities
- Documenting engineering analyses, technical decisions, design solutions, and project activities to support system integration, certification, configuration management, and continuous improvement initiatives
