Forbes is recruiting for Journalists to join our Editorial Fellowship, a twelve-month immersive training program for early career business journalists. \ The Fellowship will begin with a week-long business journalism bootcamp, followed by four 3-month assignments in the newsroom to develop financial analysis, investigations, source development, and news reporting skills. \ Responsibilities include: \ Developing skills related to pitching, reporting, and writing breaking news, trend pieces, and feature-length business stories \ Working on wealth valuations and financial investigations focused on the world's wealthiest people \ Cultivating sources and finding scoops alongside veteran reporters \ Conducting research related to list rankings and fact-checking stories \ * Collaborating with Forbes staffers on special projects \ The ideal candidate is a recent college graduate with a journalism major, significant roles at a collegiate publication, or previous journalism internship. \ Prior experience in fact-checking, reporting, writing, and editing is required, as well as solid news judgment and understanding of journalistic standards and editorial ethics. \ The fellowship is a full-time, temporary position operating on a hybrid schedule with a minimum of one in-person collaboration day per week in office. \ The role will be paid hourly at $26.44 per hour, with a weekly schedule of 40 hours per week.
