Description
We are seeking a Facilities Support Specialist to join our team at Honda Federal Credit Union in Marysville, Ohio. The successful candidate will be responsible for executing regular preventative maintenance, receiving and tending to incoming daily maintenance requests, effectively troubleshooting maintenance-related situations, maintaining vendor/contractor partnerships, and ensuring the general building operations of HFCU properties are in working order.
The Facilities Support Specialist will support the Facilities Manager with major projects as well as collaborate with other departments on projects that require facilities support.
Key responsibilities include:
- Scheduling and carrying out planned maintenance and unplanned repair activities on facilities equipment
- Receiving, claiming, and finalizing facilities maintenance requests in Facilities Management Express
- Supporting facilities department planned projects and collaborating with various departments to support their projects from a facilities perspective
- Scheduling and carrying out planned inspections and audits with local vendors or officials
- Completing assigned training and development activities
The ideal candidate will have:
- A high school diploma or GED equivalent
- One plus years in facility management/maintenance related field or one plus years in project management related field
- Broad knowledge of facilities-related systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire suppression
- Ability to build relationships with teams
- Strong computer skills, including working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to utilize work order management systems to submit, track, prioritize, and document facility maintenance and service requests
