SAP Analytics Engineer (Datasphere)

FBS – Farmer Business Services has partnered with Capgemini to offer a role as an SAP Analytics Engineer (Datasphere). The successful candidate will work remotely.

As an SAP Analytics Engineer (Datasphere), you will bridge the gap between raw data and business operations. You will manage, extract, and interpret data within SAP environments to optimise performance, ensure data integrity, and support executive decision-making.

Responsibilities:

• Provide high-level expertise in designing and implementing business applications.
• Understand business objectives and how they can be supported by IT.
• Conceptually design business applications.
• Review and validate technical designs for business applications provided by suppliers.
• Perform quality reviews of project deliverables.
• Validate supplier estimates.
• Analyse the impact of application changes across various components.
• Support implementation activities, troubleshoot system environmental issues, and provide training as needed.
• Query SAP modules such as SAP HANA, SAP BW, or SAP S/4HANA to pull and compile actionable business datasets.
• Maintain, audit, and update system master data to ensure accuracy across cross-functional enterprise systems.
• Transform raw SAP metrics into visual insights using enterprise tools like Power BI, Tableau, or SAP Analytics Cloud.
• Investigate system anomalies, data drift, and data quality issues, implementing fixes to prevent operational disruptions.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience with SAP Datasphere (or SAP Data Warehouse Cloud).
• Proficiency in SQL, with additional knowledge of Python and ELT frameworks.
• Understanding of SAP S/4HANA, BW/4HANA, and Business Technology Platform (BTP) services.
• Familiarity with integrating cloud data platforms such as Databricks, Snowflake, or Azure.
• Experience with SAP Analytics Cloud – Reporting.
