Cleaning Operative

We are seeking a Cleaning Operative to join our team at Princes Square in Glasgow.

As a Cleaning Operative, you will be responsible for cleaning communal and staff areas of the shopping centre, including hoovering, mopping, desk wiping, office and welfare facilities, and toilet cleaning. You will also empty waste and top up consumables.

Key responsibilities:

• Dusting, wiping, and disinfecting desks and all surfaces
• Cleaning customer toilets
• Scrubber drying, vacuuming, and mopping floors
• Disinfecting all high touch points
• Detail work, such as skirtings, sills, fixtures, etc.
• Following group and company policies and procedures
• Reporting any apparent deficiencies in systems of work or equipment provided
• Using all work equipment and personal PPE properly

Requirements:

• Good attendance
• Ability to work to routine schedules
• Proactive approach to finding tasks
• Ability to work on own and as a team
• Excellent timekeeping
• Good communication skills
